фото: Moscow Train Station in Leningrad 1976

Описание: Left to right: Virginia Neubert, Joe Neubert (behind), Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Thomas Hoving at the Moskovskii vokzal, having arrived on the Red Arrow train from Moscow. Ms. Kennedy Onassis visited Leningrad with Thomas Hoving of the Metropolitan Museum to see the Hermitage Museum Collections. Ms Kennedy Onassis was unhappy that there was a photographer, although this particular Soviet photographer certainly had no say in the matter and was simply sent out by his bosses. He was likely not used to people who disliked being photographed by professional photographers. My mother, on the other hand, was happy to oblige. Joe doesn't look too thrilled presumably because he has figured out that it isn't something that Ms. Onassis wanted. This photograph was given to my parents by the Soviet photographer.
