Описание: Strix nebulosa C'est la plus grande chouette ds l'h'emisph`ere Nord. Elle peut mesurer de 60 `a 83 cm de longueur. Elle est gris-brun avec le dessous fortement ray'e sur la longueur. La t^ete est ronde, sans aigrette. Le disque facial, tr`es grand en proportion et fortement lign'e, rapetisse les yeux jaunes. Son menton porte une tache noire bord'ee par des moustaches blanches.
