Описание: Marshrutki are the minibus-taxis that operate in towns all over the former soviet union. I can't work out whether they are formal or informal public transport. There are route numbers, but the vehicles are all different and there doesn't seem to be any timetable or rules. That is, apart from the unwritten ones. For example, passengers squeeze on (this is a really uncrowded one, btw) and wait for the driver to get going before passing their fares forward, hand to hand...and passing change back again, of course. Another unwritten rule would be not to get your camera out and start taking pictures.... ;)
