Îïèñàíèå: c/n 509-58 Built in 1959 as a Pilatus P3-05 and entered Swiss Air Force service with the serial A-871. Returned to Pilatus and rebuilt as the second prototype PC-7 Turbo Trainer, flying again in May 1975 with the civil registration HB-HOZ. She was used for trails and as a demonstrator, appearing at the 1976 ILA at Hannover and both the 1976 and 1978 Farnborough Airshows. In June 1979 she joined the Swiss Air Force as A-901 and presumably remained in service until becoming part of the museum here in August 1988. According to the official Swiss Civil Aircraft Register, HB-HOZ was operated by Pilatus from 1982 to 1989, so it’s possible A-901 was returned to them before it was retired. Unhelpfully, I haven’t found any reports or photos for either A-901 or HB-HOZ between 1982 and 1988. Flieger-Flab Museum, Air Force Center, Dubendorf, Switzerland 13th May 2022
