Îïèñàíèå: c/n 6059 Built in 1954 for the Royal Navy and served with 787, 801 and 803 Naval Air Squadrons (NAS) before joining the Fleet Requirement Unit (FRU). Retired from flying, she was allocated the Admiralty maintenance serial A2557 and used for ground training at RNAS Culdrose. For many years she was part of the Second World War Aircraft Preservation Society (SWWAPS) at Lasham, still wearing the overall black colour scheme from her FRU days. She moved to the museum at Newquay in July 2012 and has been restored in her original 803 NAS markings. Cornwall Aviation Heritage Centre Newquay Airport, Cornwall, UK. 27th July 2022 Note: - Sadly the museum was forced to close in October 2022 and the collection dispersed. WV798 moved to North Weald during July 2023.
