ôîòî: Hawker Hunter GA.11 ‘WV256 / D’ (G-BZPB)

Îïèñàíèå: c/n 41H-670758 Built in 1955 as a Hunter F.4 for the Royal Air Force. She flew with 26 Squadron and 229 Operational Conversion Unit (229OCU) before being transferred to the Royal Navy in March 1962. Converted to a GA.11, she then flew with 738 Naval Air Squadron and the Fleet Requirements and Air Direction Unit (FRADU) before being stored at RAF Shawbury. Sold off in November 2000 and civil registered as G-BZPB in January 2001, she was repainted to represent the prototype Hunter ‘WB188’ and flew at airshows until 2003. In May 2010 it was moved to Coventry for static display at the main entrance but was moved to Newquay in July 2012. She has now been repainted in her original 26 Squadron markings to represent her time with the RAF and is seen on display as part of the Cornwall Aviation Heritage Centre.
