Îïèñàíèå: c/n 41H-670689 Built in 1955 as a single-seat Hunter F.4 for the Royal Air Force. She flew with 26 and 54 Squadrons before being returned to Hawkers during 1957 for rebuild as a two-seat T.8 for the Royal Navy. Delivered in April 1959, she flew with 703, 759 and 764 Naval Air Squadrons before later moving to the Fleet Requirements and Development Unit (FRADU) at RNAS Yeovilton. Stored at Shawbury in April 1995, she was sold off that July and civil registered as G-BWGN the following month. Retired from flying in 1997, she was again stored before moving to Coventry in May 2010 and then to Newquay in July 2012. She has since been returned to an earlier colour scheme, nicely different compared to the dark grey that the FRADU aircraft all ended up in. Cornwall Aviation Heritage Centre Newquay Airport, Cornwall, UK. 27th July 2022 Note: - Sadly the museum was forced to close in October 2022 and the collection dispersed. WT722 has become part of the Bournemouth Aviation Museum and moved there in August 2023.
