Îïèñàíèå: c/n unknown Built in 1952 for the Royal Air Force as WL332. Later transferred to the Royal Navy and flew with the Ford Station Flight, the Lossiemouth Station Flight and the Fleet Requirements Unit (FRU). Sold off to Moston College, Woodford, in February 1969, it became part of the Wales Aircraft Museum at Cardiff Airport during 1977 then moved to the Jet Aviation Preservation Group at Long Marston in March 1990. Here a full restoration was started but the collection was dispersed with the partly dismantled Meteor remaining on site, exposed to both the elements and the vandals. She was saved and moved to Newquay in October 2020, although she’s still dismantled and still out in the elements. Stored near to the Replica Aircraft Fabricators facility, hopefully she has a brighter future ahead of her. Newquay Airport, Cornwall, UK. 27th July 2022
