В эфир вышло 52 эпизода, поделённых на 3 сезона. В 1978 году выходит первый телесериал ,с живыми актёрами - Удивительный Человек-паук ,в роли Питера Паркера был Николас Хаммонд. Несмотря на хорошие рейтинги, фанаты жаловались на низкий бюджет сериала и сценарий, который не соответствовал духу комикса. В этом же году появляется японская версия телесериала человека паука.
