In this video, you’ll learn to use the tricky Russian verbs of studying: учиться, заниматься, изучать. How do you choose the correct verb? Well, it depends... ...on what you want to say: where you study/learn what you study how often you study (do homework, practice, etc) For each of these, you’ll use a different verb. How can you remember which verb of studying to use in which situations when speaking Russian? Through example! I’ve included plenty of illustrative examples in the video that clearly show the differences in the verbs of studying and their use. What about the grammar - what case should I use with each verb? Well, each case has questions, e.g. who and what for the nominative case. The examples are a great guide, as are the questions that I will point out with each verb.
