He Lay Motionless for 7 Days, Without Water, Despairing Amidst The Indifference of Passersby Meet Boss! This dog was abandoned and left lying on the street for a whole week without water or food... It’s unimaginable what kind of pain he must have endured. He lay on the freezing ground for seven days. No one cared about him. Only when we arrived did people gather, curious to see what was happening. His mouth was infested with maggots. We didn’t know if he would survive. The dog was carefully lifted into our car and rushed to the vet. We decided to call him Boss. Boss couldn’t move, but he seemed to still feel something. Tears streamed down his face. I stroked him gently and promised I would pull him out of this nightmare. He needed water immediately. I used a syringe to help him drink... He also needed fluids through an IV drip. Boss is now under special care. Please send thousands of prayers to this little angel. Day 3 Boss is still immobile. The wound on his mouth has been cleaned. Thankfully, his health is gradually stabilizing. Day 5 I’m helping him stand up. His legs are still stiff... He can’t sit on his own yet. It has been over 12 days since he last used his legs. Every tiny step Boss takes feels like a miracle. He’s now able to eat on his own. Keep going, Boss—you’ve got this! Day 18 Boss is achieving the extraordinary... He can now stand on his own and take a few steps around the clinic. Day 30 Boss has developed a strong appetite. This progress will help him immensely on his road to recovery. Day 40 Boss is still staying at the vet clinic. He’s expected to be discharged in just a few weeks. All his efforts are paying off. Day 70 Boss has fully recovered! He joyfully takes his first runs down the street. He’s proud of his miraculous comeback. The applause and cheers are giving him the confidence to thrive.
