This time, we’re excited to welcome Hrant Khachatrian, Director of YerevaNN and ML Research Group Lead at Yerevan State University, who will discuss Kaplan & Chinchilla Scaling Laws and how our understanding of compute-optimal scaling has evolved. He’ll also touch on predicting downstream task accuracy, multi-epoch training effects, and the scaling laws for inference, focusing on deployment costs like latency and memory. Finally, Hrant will share insights from his work on AI in molecules and images.
