Iran Village Wedding Part 2 | Bride on Horseback, Traditional Dances & Cooking Amazing food

Welcome to Part 2 of the Traditional Iranian Village Wedding! This video continues the celebration from the Henna Night, moving into the main wedding day in Anbooh village, Gilan. From the morning, women gather in the courtyard to cook traditional food. They prepare a delicious lunch of Abgoosht (Persian stew) for close family and guests, while dancing and celebrating together. Later, the groom’s friends drive to bring the bride from Viyah village. At the entrance of Anbooh, the bride is placed on horseback, and with music, drums, and cheering women, she is joyfully brought to the groom’s house. A unique tradition follows: the groom and his friends climb onto the rooftop and start “Kari Khundan” (shouting playful chants in Gilaki), while the bride’s family responds from below with songs and cheers – an unforgettable moment of local culture! The wedding also includes amazing traditional dances: Gilaki & Northern Iranian dances full of energy Kurdish dance with colorful rhythms Wooden stick dance (Choob-bazi) where men face each other in pairs, hitting sticks together in an exciting performance The wedding continues until sunset, when everyone gathers inside the neighbors’ houses near the groom’s home, where they are served dinner. Another special ritual called “Takmason” is held, where guests congratulate the groom, shake his hand, and give him gifts of money as a blessing for the new life.
