We can’t pull ourselves out of bad situations, and we can’t build ourselves up. Without hope there is no light, only darkness. Hope helps us rise up from the ashes of despair. It lifts our eyes, and lets us see what could be. Hope tells us there is more, and gives light for us to continue on and find the way out of the darkness. Hope keeps us walking, searching, longing, loving. When we have hope, we can continue to share our gifts with the world. And to awaken hope in the hearts of others, is to render the most precious service. As H.
