Описание: c/n 221-81 This Sabre was assembled in Turin by FIAT, using components supplied by North American. Although allocated the US military serial 55-4841, it was delivered directly to the French Air Force in March 1957 with the serial 54841. Flew its entire career with the 13th Wing and is known to have been coded ‘13-PI’ and ‘13-SK’. Retired in March 1964, it was used as a gate guard at Colmar Airbase until March 1978, when it was dismantled for delivery to Le Bourget as part of the National collection. Since 1979 it has been on display in the Cockade Hall ‘French Military Aviation’ (Hall 8) at the Mus'ee de l'air et de l'espace. Le Bourget Airport, Paris, France. 12th July 2022
